I guess the rumored Takki drama has been confirmed as Sho's. >_> I don't think I've ever really liked him. Out of Arashi, he is somehow my least fav. >.<

Sooooo Horikita Maki's first son will be Kaname Jun. :O

People on baidu have been causing a ruckus all day about this, so I'm glad the cat is finally out of the bag. :D

It was kind of disappointing though. I mean, Kaname Jun is ok looking but he's definitely not someone that you'd wait hours on end for.

For the remaining 5, I want Kanata Hongo, Miura Haruma, and Yamapi. And two other guys. I dun care who. Haha it's not gonna happen. :(

As I browse through the posts, I feel like no one is entirely ecstatic that Toma's the lead in this drama, and I kind of agree with them. I mean yeah, it's CX, yeah he's the lead, but....it's such a crappy timeslot T_T. I feel like all the tester dramas get put in this slot and for the most part, they've failed. >_>

Also, the plot sounds pretty solemn, and Japan doesn't seem in the mood for solemn dramas anymore. Unless it turns out to be uber good, but I have doubts. u_u

In any case, I pray that the ratings do not just die. =3

I dunno if I believe it...but the post on Baidu said it's already decided that Toma will be the lead actor for an April FujiTV drama. And supposedly the girl is Higa Manami (which I guess is ok because she's pretty...but I hope she isn't too tall for him...) 

I don't know if I should let myself get excited about this.

Dude, I am usually the first person to say Horikita Maki is adorably pretty, but after IL...she's been looking more and more like a grandma.

I also never really liked Meisa. I always thought she looked really masculine in 1 pound. >_> 

In other news, Aragaki Yui and Matsujun? >____________> And he's a half Filipino? =___=!!! I feel compelled to watch it, but it just sounds so unappealing... I also really dislike Aragaki. She bored me to tears in Code Blue and I honestly don't think she's a good actress. Pretty?Yes. Talented? No.

And, as blasphemous as this sounds, I think it's more interesting than Hanakimi, even though everyone keeps making the opposite comparison. 8D

In other news, I finished Voice ep 1 with subs. Does anyone else think the mystery is kinda nonsensical...LOL. The writer of Honey and Clover is yappari unfit to write this sort of thing. But I like the interaction between the main characters. And I like Eita. And most of all...I ADORE TOMA WITH A BURNING PASSION.

My roommate thinks I'm crazy. *___*

And Kame's drama only got 10% ratings for ep1? lolololol. Maybe bent noses and ugly skin is going out of fashion.

I also want to write a Tomapi fic. Something about how Yamapi goes home on NY after Countdown, climbs into bed, and finds Toma under the covers. I don't know what happens after that. Maybe someone else will write something. Why is no one inspired after recent events?! D=

In other news, is it wrong that I'm totally into Hey Say 7 right now? LOL I spent yesterday watching the filming of their first MV with my friend, and we both fawned over Nakayama, Yamada, and Chinen. They are SO freaking cute. I love it. I LOVE IT! They're my new OT3. They're so young and blunt~~~ And Yamada has REALLY amazing abs. Ok...I'm gonna stop. That's kinda creepy. >_>

So earlier today, I recovered my old computer and opened firefox. It magically restored the tabs from half a year ago, and lo and behold...THEY ARE THE SAME SITES I VISITED TODAY! LOL. Glad to see I've changed so much XD

Actually, I'm pretty anti-change. Toma's willing to adapt himself to his changing surroundings, but I always feel like I'm losing part of my integrity if I let myself do that. I realize I've probably changed in some ways...in fact, I'm probably more laid back now. But everything still feels so much the same......

I also watched Countdown 2007-2008 just now. It was SO GOOD! And all the old songs made me T_T. The Countdown this year is not worth commemorating LOL. It was just messy, disjointed, devoid of any meaningful content. Jin looked like he'd rather jump off a building than be there. I don't really blame him, but his blah face was very unappetizing. AND WHAT WAS HE WEARING! I couldn't see his body shape at all! >_< Yuck.

And HOLY CRAP KOICHI IS 30! That is just bizarre. And how does he still look so freaking young? XD Kinki is so awesome. I love what Tsuyoshi did. In fact, that was the only part of the concert I really enjoyed =D (My least favorite might have been Uchi's appearance. I dunno why but his outfit just...ew...and his voice! *shudder*)

Anyway, I hope 2009 will bring me more Toma and more TomaPi. The rest is largely irrelevant to my happiness.

As for New Year's resolution, I hope I can study less and eat good food more! :D

It's 1:47 am on Sunday of fall break...I am reading political science text. AND my econ exam and polisci exam are on the same day. *whimper*

But hey, so far I'm doing well. :D It's also because I work my butt off ... LOL People in my dorm think I'm such a recluse...but uh...not in a bad way? Like there are the recluses that people avoid and just pretend don't exist, and there are recluses that people constantly facebook and invite to dinner and generally try to drag out of their room. I think I belong to the latter group... it's nice to have people glomp onto me when I actually make an appearance...>.>

But I'm just too lazy/busy to socialize extensively. >.> And my friends all left me :(  Duke is so desolate! And all the restaurants are closed T.T

So I've been subsisting off ramen and cereal.

So I've made it through the 1st week of DUKE, and it's actually not as bad as it was originally. But I guess it would be a huge problem, if it was. LOL 

I'm kind of laid back on the social scene, and a girl down the hall makes me want to slap her, but I have a cool roommate and all my classes end by 11:20 am...YAY! I also met a cute korean girl that likes FT Island. That said, I can't believe people have already started drinking and blacking out and stuff...-_- How did they make it in? I can only wonder......

Oh, and my student advisor person is crazy. He made me walk through a fucking forest on our tour. -_-

But that's like Duke in a nutshell. Forest. College. Ghetto. :D

So like, I was kinda pissed about the olympics at first, cuz all that Chinese people blogged about for the past 2 days was the opening ceremony.

Then I watched it.

I'm so not a fan of Zhang Yin Mo movies, but he completely outdid himself. The choreography, the coordination, the cinematic symbolism...wow. And I can confidently say that only China could successfully carry out such a spectacular show of SHEER MANPOWER. 

And the contrasts...loud and soft, dark and light, tall and short (LOL...grandma: Wow, that little boy next to Yaomin is REALLY short. Me: >__> Yeaaaaaaaah......it's definitely the boy's problem...) but most touchingly...Joy and Grief. So much shit is happening in China alongside the Olympics that I find it entirely pertinent and poignant for the choreographers to address this coexistence. 

And the histoooorrryyyyyy.

Chinese netizen 1: This must be a severe blow for those kimchis (i.e. Koreans...lol) Confucianism and the 4 great inventions all originated in CHINA!

Chinese netizen 2: Yeah, just wait a couple hours. -___- The kimchis will probably say that Beijing actually belongs to them too.
